It's been a fairly mild, not-so-snowy winter here in Mid-Michigan. It's almost been pleasant for those who despise the brutal winters that Michigan is known for. But that's all about to change.

Mother Nature has portions of Michigan in her cross-hairs, putting the entire thumb region under a Winter Weather Advisory; Lapeer and Tuscola Counties are included in the advisory area. While snowfall amounts will vary greatly from county to county, expect anything from 2 to 7 inches depending on where you live, with Lapeer and Tuscola Counties seeing the most.

While temperatures will be in the mid 30s for the day on Tuesday, we'll only be in the 20s for the rest of the week. But bone-chilling temperatures, the coldest yet this season, will roll in this weekend. Saturday high temperatures will struggle to get into the double-digits, and Sunday we won't even get out of the teens!
