The state's largest grocery retailer plans on getting even bigger.

The Kroger company plans to hire more than 2,000 people in the state of Michigan within the next year to 18 months. Plans are also in the works to invest $110 million to build two new stores in the metro Detroit area and remodel existing stores throughout the state.

Kroger offers associates highly competitive wages plus an attractive benefits package, including healthcare options. The grocer also offers in-store discounts, price breaks on products and programs available outside of Kroger, training opportunities and contests.
