They said that the tactic seems to be working; several customers have come back to pay their bill.

Nikola's in Southfield is starting to crack down on "dine-and-dash" customers. In case you've never heard of it (and hopefully never done it), it's where you bolt out of a restaurant after eating, before paying the bill.

And, in a lot of restaurants, the server ends up with the responsibility of paying the bill. Personally, I think that should be illegal, but I digress.

They are posting surveillance video, pictures, license plate numbers and/or receipts on their Facebook page to publicly shame the crooks, with the hopes that they will come back and settle the bill.

So far, four out of the five dine-and-dashers have come back to settle the bill. Do you think it's fair what they're doing?
