Michigan PD Cares for Dog Found During Meth Bust

It also looks like they may have found a responsible family member to take her home.

The police in Cadillac were called to a fire on Wednesday. Turns out, it was caused by an exploding meth lab.

They also found an adorable little black lab named Hazel. There was nobody around to claim her, and the local kennels aren't taking any new dogs right now because of a virus. So...what to do? The PD took her back to the station and kept her overnight.

Officers chipped in money for some toys and food, and said that she's a total sweetheart. A family member has stepped forward to claim her, but if it doesn't work out, the department says that they've received plenty of inquiries from people wanting to adopt her.
