They did it for their kids, who were on Christmas break and wanted to get them outside.

Two guys from Arenac County, Ryan Tremble and Grant Fox, saw a YouTube "how to" video and decided to act on it - they made an ice carousel out of a frozen pond in the small community of Omer, Michigan.

It took them two hours and a lot of elbow grease, but by the time they were done, they held a cookout on the ice.

They cut the perimeter with a chainsaw. Now, their kids have something to do outside during the freezing temps.
