Michigan Man Suing Movie Theater Over Snack Prices

A Livonia man is suing the AMC Theater chain because the price of snacks is too high.

Joshua Thompson paid $8 for a box of candy and a Coke, and has since filed a class-action lawsuit in Wayne County Circuit Court.

I have news for you, Joshua, and yes, I'm using all caps because I am indeed yelling:

GOING TO THE MOVIES IS OPTIONAL! BUYING SNACKS AT THE MOVIES IS OPTIONAL! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY THAT MUCH FOR SNACKS, THAT'S YOUR CHOICE!

What's next for Mr. Thompson?

He could sue his drug dealer because the price of crack is too high.

The price of hookers has skyrocketed, so by all means, file a lawsuit.

$10 for parking at a Tigers game? I smell a lawsuit!

Legal experts are not predicting a favorable outcome for Thompson.
