“I got him from rescue, and he really rescued me. He’s just the love of my life.”

When 2-year-old Mikey was brought into the Michigan Humane Society, he was in pretty rough shape. Instead of being euthanized for glaucoma and mange, vets removed both of his eyes. He was then adopted by Sabrina Johnson, who also serves as the district judge for Inkster.

“When people meet him, they melt. I’ve seen very tough police officers just get down on their hands and knees, just play with him. He brightens everyone’s day.”

Thanks, Sabrina. We all just melted, too!
