The first annual Michigan Honey Festival will take place this Saturday, July 28th at the Eastern Michigan Fairgrounds in Imlay City.  Come enjoy a day of food, fun and education.  You'll learn a lot of the good things that bees do for us.

It's more than just honey!  You'll see demonstrations of all aspects of beekeeping, from building your hive to spinning out the honey.

There will also be chefs cooking with honey, vendors selling everything and anything bee related, and mead tasting.  Mead is a type of beer made with honey, which goes back to ancient times.  There will also be a "bee beard record attempt (see photos).
