Michigan Girl Has Lemonade Stand To Raise Albinism Awareness

Iron Mountain's Rylee Goudreau has albinism - a rare genetic disorder that only affects 1 in 18,000 people and affects the pigment in their hair and skin.

In order to raise awareness for it, Rylee had a lemonade stand yesterday in honor of Albinism Awareness Day. Lemonade was only 25 cents, and she used the proceeds to benefit standingvoice.org, which gives sunscreen, sunglasses and hats to people with albinism in Tanzania.

In five hours, Rylee was able to raise almost $1,900. Not bad, young lady!
