Michigan Free Fishing Weekend June 11 & 12
This Saturday and Sunday is Free Fishing Weekend in the state of Michigan. You can fish on any Michigan public body of water without a license for the two day period.
While the fishing license fee is waived, all other fishing regulations still apply. Fishing brings a lot of people and money into the state. There is over 3000 miles of Great Lakes shoreline, over 11 thousand inland lakes and over 36 thousand miles of rivers and streams. So grab a fishing pole, your family and friends, and let's go fishing!
