Detroit Metro passengers stopped in their tracks as a Delta gate agent honored as large group of World War 11 veterans prepared to board their plane for a trip to France, and it took only a minute to move everyone present to tears.

Anna Marie Barile decided to sing the National Anthem over the public address system on Monday when she learned that the elderly World War 11 veterans were on their way to Normandy, France to mark the seventieth anniversary of D-Day on June 6.
