And this isn't the first time Lapeer organization has sent help to other parts of the country.

Ag Community Relief was founded after Michigan farmers decided to take part in a convoy that took supplies to wildfires last spring - in Texas, ironically.

They're now filling a 53-foot semi truck full of supplies such as water troughs, bags of feed and other items that farmers will need.

Right now, they said, everything is wet, and the farm animals are not eating. The truck will leave on Monday, September 11th, and they're asking for all donations to be made by this Friday. If you'd like to donate, you can find the list of items needed HERE.

Thank you for ALL you're doing for people in AND out of Michigan!
