Wesley is a golden retriever who had a problem - he couldn't completely close his mouth because of the alignment of his teeth. So he had Dr. Moore at the Harborfront Hospital for Animals in Spring Lake, Michigan, put on some braces.

And, unlike myself, he's lucky enough only to have them for a few weeks. I had mine for YEARS! Lucky you, Wesley!

February is National Pet Dental Health Month, and it's super important to remember to get your pets' teeth checked. We just found out that the kitten we adopted has a small bout of gingivitis, but he's already on medication for it. Gotta take care of our pet's teeth, too!
