Michigan Credit Unions Suing Over Wendy’s Credit Card Breach

It's part of a class action lawsuit that's been brought against the restaurant chain. 

The credit breach, which was announced in June, affected more than 100 Michigan locations.The lawsuit alleges it was "due to Wendy's poor data security measures, failure to discover and contain the breach and for neglecting to notify financial institutions of the compromise."

The lawsuit is looking to recoup the costs that the credit unions incurred as a result. So, don't get excited - the class action suit has nothing to do with the customers and everything to do with the banks. *womp womp*
