Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is warning consumers to be wary when purchasing tickets online during the busy summer concert and event season.

Schuette says that "as we enjoy summer, consumers should protect themselves from fraudulent online ticket sales tactics" and events and concerts "should not be soured by online ticket scammers looking to make a quick buck."

Schuette offers up some tips to protect yourself such as knowing the vendor, using credit cards to purchase tickets, and inspecting them when you get them.
