In case you haven't heard children under the age of ten can now legally take up hunting with firearms in the state of Michigan. Under the new program children will be able to obtain a special license to hunt game such as turkey and deer. Fishing is also included.

Children will be permitted to handle shotguns, rifles and bows. All children must be accompanied by an adult mentor of at least 21-years of age. Previously young hunters had to be at least ten-years-old.

Do you think kids under ten are to young to handle firearms? Take the jump and take the poll.
