The Miami Dolphins have fired their head coach, announcing that Tony Sparano is being replaced by Todd Bowles for the team’s remaining three games this season. Bowles had been the defensive coach.  The Dolphins record is now 4-9 after starting the season 0-7. In his four-year career with the Dolphins, Sparano was 29-32.Speculation within the organization is that the team would like to hire a “proven winner” to replace Sparano, and money won’t be an issue in their search.
