This is probably one of the strangest lawsuits that I've ever heard about.

Parents in Grand Haven were recently ordered to pay a whopping $45,000 after they destroyed their son's massive porn collection. Well, technically they "disposed of" the porn but pretty much the same thing.

Who in the hell needs that much porn?

43-year-old David Werking, that's who. This guy sued his parents after they threw away his monster collection which was valued at $30,441.54. Or as a judge called it, “a trove of pornography and an array of sex toys.”

According to MLive, U.S. District Judge Paul Maloney in Kalamazoo ordered Beth and Paul Werking to pay $30,441.54 to their son and $14,519.82 to his attorney.

What's the backstory on this guy and his porn collection?

Apparently, David Werking went through a nasty divorce (geez, I wonder why) and was forced to move in with his parents. At some point, he was able to get back on his feet, move out of Michigan and start a new life in Indiana. He expected his parents to send all of his stuff to him in Indiana but not all of it showed up. That's right, his porn collection never made it.

At some point, he must have called or emailed his parents wondering where the rest of his stuff was because he eventually got an email from his father who wrote: “Frankly, David, I did you a big favor getting rid of all this stuff.”

Why in the hell would this dude have his parents send him his porn collection? That's freaking weird. I mean, he moved to Indiana. It's not like he moved across the country or something. He should have acted like a big boy and moved his perverted porn collection on his own. You don't ask your parents to do that.

I'm not judging this guy. Oh wait...yes, I am. What a weirdo.
