The Lions may have lost, but the people who were at Ford Field on Sunday still left happy.

See why.

The Detroit Lions honor a member of the U.S. military during every home game at Ford Field, but yesterday's remembrance was truly special.

Marine Captain Josh Munsee of Grand Rapids wasn't scheduled to come home from his multiple tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq until February of 2014, but when he was told that he'd be leaving early he took it as the perfect opportunity to surprise his wife and children.

Captain Munsee's devotion to the Lions is well known among his fellow Marines, and it was his boss's idea to do a family reunion with the team. Josh hit the "contact us" link on the Lion's website and received a reply just two days later. "We gotta make this happen," said Jennifer Cadicamo, Lion's VP of Marketing.

It all played out at the end of Sunday's first quarter, in front of 60,000 fans. Grab a kleenex or two and watch the very happy reunion below.
