Quillan Groenwald doesn't usually tag along when his dad goes to cut wood. But it's fortunate that he did this time, as his father, Grant Groenwald, became pinned under a large tree limb.

At first, four-year-old Quillan didn't think he'd be able to help his dad, but Grant was able to persuade and encourage the boy.

"I said, 'I need your help. Daddy's pinned,'" Groenwald told WPBN-TV. “He said, 'I can't, Dad. I can't help you.' I said, 'You've got to. You're the only person I've got. You’re my only savior.'"

The boy managed to drag the heavy chainsaw to his father who was then able to cut the wood that had him pinned.

“I saved my daddy's life!” said Quillan. “I got to drag the chainsaw to him.”
