MDOT Offering Maps for Upcoming Road Construction Season

ThinkStock

Even though we are all dodging potholes right now, we will soon be trying to avoid the dreaded orange barrels and road construction! The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is trying to help us. They have released their annual statewide highway construction maps. MDOT provides these maps each year to help motorists locate (and avoid) major road and bridge projects across the state.

Print editions of the map are available at all MDOT Transportation Centers, regional offices and all state welcome centers. You can also download a PDF of the 2014 map from the ‘Maps and Publication’ section of the MDOT website here. Print it out and throw it in your car and you’ll have less headaches later!
