Mateen Cleaves to Cut Ribbon For New Flint Restaurant
Flint's Mateen Cleaves is among the guests slated to cut the ribbon at a pre-openimg burger party tonight at 'Freakin Unbelievable Burgers', formerly Fazoli's, in Flint Township.
The event begins tonight at 5pm.
Fazoli's closed its doors on March 31st.
Restaurant owner Brent Skaggs says he plans to re-open the Corunna Rd. facility Monday. (May 21st)
“We have a new concept we’re real excited about,” Skaggs told Cars 108 in a phone interview. He feels that after 12 years as Fazoli’s, it’s time for a change. “It’s going to be more of a fast-casual concept called ‘Freakin’ Unbelievable Burgers’ which will feature different types of burgers, including build-your-own burgers.” Craft beers, wine, and frozen cocktails will also be featured.
Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers will employee about 40 people.
