Marvin Gaye’s Son Calls ‘Sexual Healing’ Movie “Pure Trash”
Here's what's going on. The son of Motown legend Marvin Gaye's is not at all pleased with the biopic about his late father. Marvin Gaye III calls the movie "pure trash."
Gaye tells TMZ the movie, titled 'Sexual Healing,' is untrue, exploitative, with a ton of holes and worst of all ... doesn't "hold the vibe of my father." He says no one in his family is backing the film.
The family's attorney has been consulted, and Gaye feels confident that the Vassal Benford-produced film will never see the light of day.
Benford on the other hand has no plans to stop production of the film, and is negotiating with several music superstars to record the soundtrack.
