This story should be designated as "disgusting video" or "not suitable for anyone." 17-year-old Danta Wright is seen smiling and practically laughing, as his victim's mother read an impact statement during his sentencing. Wright admitted to killing 18-year-old Jordan Klee of Ann Arbor last October.

Judge David Swartz expressed his disgust for Wright, in the video below from WXYZ.

"Watching you sit there, smile, laugh, shake your head like this was no big deal— I’m very tempted to just say, 'I’m not going to accept this sentencing agreement and we’ll go to trial' and if you’re convicted of felony murder, you’ll go to prison for the rest of your life. That means you’ll die there. That’s what I’m tempted to do.”

Wright has been sentenced to serve 23 to 50 years for Klee's murder. Because of Wright's attitude, Judge Swartz questioned if the sentence was too lenient.

The defendant's lawyer apologized for his client's actions, citing emotional issues.
