Mantyhose have been popular for quite some time in Europe, and are just now starting to catch on in the US, according to Francesco Cavallini, VP of luxe hosiery company Emilio Cavallini, who says the number of men interested in buying pantyhose is increasing.
“When we started our online shop we noticed that a lot of tights sized medium-large were being purchased by men…so I did a search on the Internet and discovered there is a cult following for mantyhose.”
The product is often used by men who work outside, because it guards against cold weather. It also helps those with circulatory problems, and helps to revitalize muscles for those who are on their feet all day.
