A man tells police investigators he intentionally crashed his car, attempting to kill his 2-year-old son. He added that he felt incapable of being a father, and thought the solution was to end the boy's life.

Nathan Weitzel says he purposefully crashed his vehicle because, "being a father was a big responsibility and he did not think he was man enough to raise a child."

Arrest records also indicate that the Denver man said he buckled his own seat belt, but intentionally left his son unrestrained.

The toddler was seriously hurt in the wreck, although his injuries don't appear to be life-threatening.
