DUI. Everyone knows what those three letters mean; driving under the influence. But did you know that you could be charged for being drunk and riding a horse?

A 55 year old man from Lexington, Kentucky was riding his horse on a rural road while under the influence when he was pulled over by a police officer. He staggered and almost fell as he dismounted from the horse, and sobriety tests showed that his blood alcohol was twice the legal limit! The cop also found rolling papers and pot in his pocket and beer and moonshine in his saddlebag.

The gentleman was charged with operating a non-motor vehicle under the influence and drug possession. No word as to whether the horse was impounded or towed!
