Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk Saturday in Downtown Flint

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer will take place Saturday, October 27th in downtown Flint starting at 10 a.m. Walkers will meet at the Flat Lot at Saginaw and Kearsley Streets.

Since 1993, eight million walkers have raised over $460 million through Making Strides events helping the American Cancer Society in the fight against Breast Cancer.

You can still take part in the festivities, registration begins at 8:30, the walk starts at 10.

Cars 108's Rod & Steph will be M.C.'s for the event which includes music and dancing to get you warmed up and keep you that way before and after the walk.

Most of us know and love someone who has been touched by breast cancer. Making Strides is a great way to celebrate those who have survived cancer, those who are still fighting, and to remember those that lost the battle.
