Major Grocery Chain About To Close One Of Its Mid-Michigan Locations
The Kroger Co. of Michigan says it will close one of its Flint stores in August.
Kroger made the announcement yesterday that it’s shuttering the 2629 Pierson Road location next month. Kroger made the announcement saying the store near the Hallwood Plaza, just west of Clio Road, would close Aug. 16.
With the lease expiring at this location, it was determined during their evaluation that they were unable to continue operating at the 2629 Pierson Road, Flint location and made the decision to not renew their lease and to close the store on Aug. 16.
Kroger’s announcement said the company would offer all 85 employees at the store the option of transferring to the company’s 11 other stores in Genesee County.
