Long Time Well Respected Flint Businessman Passes Away

We're sadden to report beloved community leader and businessman, Woody Skaff, has died.

Skaff passed away Wednesday. He was 96 years old. Woody Skaff was president of Skaff Carpet and Furniture until he retired in 1985. I can say I had the priveledge of meeting Mr. Skaff on many occasions while doing work for Cars 108 at their store. He truly was a nice guy. And a great businessman. Even though he was retired you would still see Woody in the store checking on things. It was in his blood.

Visitation for Mr. Skaff is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 20 at Swartz Funeral Home on Hill Road in Flint. It's from 3-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 21 at First Presbyterian Church in Flint at 2 p.m. R.I.P Woody.
