There are multiple places in Genesee County that are cooking up a free meal for those who need it this Thanksgiving.

Here are some places you can get a warm meal this week:

  • The Salvation Army - Annual Thanksgiving Eve dinner on Wednesday(11/23) at 1475 West Coldwater Road. Doors open at 4pm and dinner will be served 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
  • The International Academy of Flint on Saginaw Street - Free Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday from 11am to 1pm.
  • The Barn on Torrey Road in Fenton - Free Thanksgiving meal on Thursday from 11am to 2pm.
  • Carriage Town Ministries - Community Thanksgiving dinner at 5pm on Thursday
  • The North End Soup Kitchen - Free Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, including a "Family Fun Meal" from 11:30am to 1pm
