LOCAL SPOTLIGHT: McKenna’s Squad Beauty Boxes at Hurley [VIDEO]

In case you've been living under a rock, let us explain: McKenna's Squad was created in memory of McKenna Schumer, who passed away this time last year after a long battle with cancer.

She loved make-up, like many preteen girls her age. With her treatments, she wanted to feel like herself again, so she started the beauty bar for girls like her going through cancer treatments.

At first, the physical beauty bar was just at Detroit Children's Hospital. Now, the boxes are mobile and they're available at Hurley.
