LOCAL SPOTLIGHT: Jim Kitchen from Swartz Creek Schools Goes Viral

It's been a BIG week for Swartz Creek Community Schools, and NOT because of the weather!

It was a historic week for Michigan, weather-wise. The Polar Vortex meant that schools all over the state closed for almost an entire week, so Swartz Creek Schools Principal Jim Kitchen and Superintendent Ben Mainka decided to have some fun with their school closings announcement...and it went VIRAL. Jimmy Kimmel featured them on his show last night and CBS news posted their video, too! Well done, guys! You make Michigan proud!
