LOCAL SPOTLIGHT: Families Against Narcotics (FAN) of Genesee County

For the first time in United States history, a report from the National Safety Council states that individuals are more likely to die from an opioid overdose than from an accident on the road.

That's a 1 in 9 chance.

We probably don't even need to say it, but opioid abuse has been on the rise for years, even right here in Genesee County. With this latest statistic coming out, we thought it would be a good idea to have Aaron, the vice president of Families Against Narcotics (FAN) of Genesee County in to talk about what kind of support is available here in our backyard.
