Local Graduate Becomes Viral Sensation After Graduation Performance [VIDEO]

A Lapeer High School graduate not only stole the show with his rendition of Lukas Graham's "7 Years", now he is becoming a viral sensation!

I don't remember any of the performances from my graduation. I can only assume that is because they were not as good as Lapeer High School's J.P. Wallace. He preformed his own version of Lukas Graham's "7 Years", changing some of the lyrics to reflect on the past and present of his graduating class. Wallace says

I chose the lyrics I did because I really wanted my version to be a story from beginning to now and then to the future, similar to how Lukas Graham did it.

Over 241,000 people have watched his performance on YouTube.  I wonder if one of those people is Lukas Graham?
