A spectator is being accused of using a laser pointer to distract players during Sunday's game at Ford Field between the Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions.

Bills' officials say the fan shone the light into holder Colton Schmidt's eyes, and used it to distract kicker Dan Carpenter and quarterback Kyle Orton.

The fan may have been able to get away with it -- bringing a laser pointer to Ford Field is against the rules -- but the culprit has been bragging about the incident on Twitter. He has since closed the Twitter account, but NFL officials say that if the person is identified, they will turn the case over to local police.
