Television stations across the country have been handed a corporate mandate to read a scripted news story intended to warn viewers about "troubling trend of irresponsible, one-sided news stories plaguing our country.”

A compilation video which features dozens of anchors employed by Sinclair Broadcasting reading the script includes clips from Flint's Fox affiliate, WSMH Fox 66.

Reports say the news copy sounds a lot like the rhetoric preached by President Trump because it was written by one of his allies.

The script -- which sources say was to be read word-for-word by the anchors -- is printed below the video.

 

 

“Hi, I’m(A) ____________, and I’m (B) _________________…

(B) Our greatest responsibility is to serve our Northwest communities. We are extremely proud of the quality, balanced journalism that KOMO News produces.

(B) More alarming, some media outlets publish these same fake stories… stories that just aren’t true, without checking facts first.
