Little Girl Plays With Dead Squirrel [VIDEO]

My middle daughter Megan used to be the one who would bring home stray animals, dead or alive. The dead one I remember the most was a baby rabbit, she didn’t know it was dead, she was only 4 at the time, and no I didn’t get out the video camera.

That’s exactly what two dumbfounded parents did in this video, in which their adorable little daughter decided to befriend a squirrel killed moments earlier by the family greyhound. Read more and watch the video after the jump. The daughter can be seen cradling the squirrel and pressing it against her body as if it were a dog. Which would be kind of cute, we guess, if it were, you know, actually alive.

After a few minutes of filming, the father finally got in touch with his parenting skills and decided it was time to say goodbye to the dead squirrel.

“We gotta take a bath now,” he said.
