Limo Company Proves Racism is Alive and Well in Detroit [VIDEO]
Candis Doss says she's never really experienced racism until now. The Detroit woman was attempting to book a party bus for her mother's birthday, when her phone dropped the call unexpectedly. She then received a text message from the booking company that she had been speaking to.
"Why do black people always just hang up...Is it an inherited thing to be rude? or is it because you were slaves for so long?"
The message included a signature link for DetroitLimoPartyBus.com.
Seriously? What years is this? Are we really still categorizing people and making generalized judgments based solely on race? And who is stupid enough to type this into a text message and hit send?
