Letterman Tapes Show With No Audience, Due to Sandy [VIDEO]

David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon taped Monday's shows without a studio audience, in order to make sure audience members wouldn't be hurt going to, or leaving the shows. Hurricane Sandy also caused Jon Stewart, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert to cancel taping of their respective late-night shows.

The eerie silence in the studio made me think I was watching a Jay Leno monologue. (OK, I admit, I stole that joke from a YouTube commenter.)
