Jimmy Kimmel got emotional and nearly broke down during his monologue Monday night when he talked about the mass shooting in Las Vegas. Kimmel, a Las Vegas native, calls out senators who have voted against legislation that would require stricter background checks for those that buy weapons at gun shows.

"What I'm talking about tonight isn't about gun control, it's about common sense. Common sense says, 'No good will ever come from allowing a person to have weapons that will take down 527 Americans at a concert.'"
