Lapeer High School Student Spreading Good Vibes

She's extended it from just one day to every day.

Lapeer High School student Catie Kehrer, or "Carebear" as she's fondly known to her friends and classmates, is truly exhibiting the Care Bear spirit.

When the Parkland shooting happened, students were encouraged to write uplifting, positive notes to classmates. Most of the students did it for one day, but Catie has continued to pass the notes out, which has lifted a lot of spirits on bad days.

Catie was bullied as a child, so she understands what it's like to feel alone. She also knows how something like a simple post-it note with a kind, positive message on it can go a long way.
