Lake Fenton Closed To Public Due To Missing Boater [Report]

Authorities say the body of 61-year-old James Lehmkuhle has been found. WNEM reports that the body was found about halfway down Mantawauka Drive in the water.

The public is being asked to stay off Lake Fenton today, as rescue crews continue searching for a missing boater.

WNEM reports that crews were out searching the lake last night (Tuesday) till around two in the morning.

The search was called off until this morning, and crews expect to be back out on the water by 8am.

In the meantime they are asking that the public stay off of Lake Fenton till further notice, so they can continue the search.  Authorities identified the missing boater as James Lehmkuhle, 61, of Flushing.

His boat was found Wednesday, but still no sign of him.
