Kid Rock Writes New Anthem For Detroit Lions

Kid Rock has been good to Detroit. He has been generous with his time, he has been generous with his money, and he has been generous with his talent. See what he's been up to lately after the jump.

Kid Rock has been like the unofficial goodwill ambassador for Detroit.He raised a million dollars in May when he performed with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and more recently he donated a home completely furnished  to a wounded war veteran in a partnership with Operation Finally Home. His latest endeavor has been the writing and recording of a new song for the Detroit Lions, part of the Pepsi Anthems series called 'In Detroit'. Listen to it here.

Some people aren't big fans of what they call "stereotypical lyrics". Most seem to like the song though. What about you?
