Kid Rock hasn't stopped teasing the idea of a run for a seat in the US Senate. In fact, the notion of the Detroit rocker's entrance into the political scene intensified last night at his inaugural show at Detroit's Little Caesars Arena.

Rock opened his show last night (9/12) with a political speech (1st video below) and, according to WXYZ, plans to do so at each of his shows leading up to his show on September 20th, at which he is expected to announce whether or not his bid for the US Senate is legitimate.

But Rock's appearance in the Motor City wasn't without controversy. Protesters marched outside Little Caesars arena, claiming Rock has an allegiance to white supremacist groups. His adversaries take issue with his support for Donald Trump, and the use of the Confederate flag at his concerts.
