Kearsley Street To Get Facelift, Flint Cultural Center Still Open During Road Work
If you have plans to visit the Flint Cultural Center this summer, getting there will be a bit of a challenge for a month or two. Work is to begin on July 5th to replace pavement on Kearsley Street between Crapo and Walnut. New lights will be installed as well as new informational banners.
Access to the Sloan Museum and Longway Planetarium will be hampered, but you can still get there! Visitors to Sloan Museum can use the main museum parking off Longway Boulevard, and Planetarium visitors can get there via the entrance off Crapo Street between the Library and Flint Central High School. Work is scheduled to be completed by August 26th. www.sloanlongway.org
