Kayla O’Mara Memorial 5k/10k Races Saturday In Goodrich

The 6th annual Kayla O’Mara Scholarship 10k/5k races will be held this Saturday morning in Goodrich, starting and finishing at Goodrich High School. The 10k will start at 7:30, followed by the 5k at 9:00. Even if you’re “velocity challenged”, you can finish in time to do both races.

Both courses have rolling hills on mostly rural roads. Proceeds go to fund scholarships for area students. You can pre-register and pick up your race packets on Thursday (noon to 8pm) and Friday (10-2) at Bauman’s Running Shop on Hill road. You can also register at Goodrich High School on Friday from 5-8 pm. Race day registration opens at 6:30 am.
