Katie Couric Replacing ‘General Hospital’ on ABC?

Looks like Katie Couric could be heading to ABC to do an afternoon talk show, which could be on at the same time as ‘General Hospital.’ Which means, ‘General Hospital’ would get the boot to make room for Katie. According to TMZ, Couric would also be involved doing specials such as ’20/20′ and filling in as an anchor when needed.

If she accepts the job, she could make $20 million just for the first year, so she would be stupid not to take it. Good for her, but bad for ‘General Hospital’ fans, since it would mean the last soap on the network would be done.
