A Michigan State Trooper and a Bay County man are injured, but in stable condition following a big fall.

It all started with a traffic stop in the city of Saginaw around 11:30 p.m. Friday night. The man failed to stop and a car chase began. The man traveled north in the southbound lane of I-675 to Kochville Township. Police cornered him near the Kochville Road overpass.

The man got out of his car, and climbed over the overpass guard rail. When the trooper went to grab him, they both fell over the edge. They fell about 25 to 35 feet down, landing on the Kochville Road embankment.

The trooper is suffering from back injuries. The Bay County man, who's name has not yet been released, has a broken leg. More in the video.
