The verdict has been reached, and a jury of seven women and five men found Conrad Murray guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. Deliberations lasted only about nine hours, beginning Friday, and adjourning for the weekend.

Protesters could be heard chanting, "Guilty, guilty, guilty," before the verdict was read just after 4pm today.

Murray faces a sentence ranging from probation to four years in jail, and he will lose his medical license. The sentence will be determined by Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor, not the jury.

Sentencing will take place on November 29th.
